Excellent car for the price!

I purchased a 2016 sonata in May 2016. Over the lifetime of the car so far I have averaged 48 MpG(This is a mixture of city and highway miles and is measured at the pump!) This car rides very smooth and is very quiet. I am not a fan of cars generally speaking, I prefer SUVs and pickups, but out of the cars I have owned in my life, this is definitely my favorite. I constantly have passengers exclaim how roomy the back seat is(even people 6 feet 6 inches tall). The car has plenty of legroom for 4 tall adults - 3.0
Great car, except for the hybrid engine problem

The vehicle has been great until this year. The hybrid motor has died twice. Second time, I pulled over, stopped and started the engine. Both gas and hybrid came back on but check engine light was on. Dealer is still looking at it. They have been super, giving us free loaners. But the hybrid issue is very disappointing. That's the only reason we would not recommend it. - 5.0
2.5 years old and loving it

It has a sport mode when I want extra get up and go for passing, etc. Normal driving is extremely comfortable and stylish. I have the limited hybrid model and am running about 40 mpg around town.
